Mallu Singh Review

Mallu Singh Review

If you have already preoccupied with the expectations set by previous Vysagh’s movies, then surely you are going to get disappointed by Mallu Singh.

As opposed to tag line “fun unlimited”, there is only limited entertainment in this.

Plot goes around with Ani(Kunjako Boban) goes in search of his missing friend cum sister’s(Samvratha) love hari (Unni Mukundan), and the search ends up in finding Harinder Singh in Punjab.

The most of the elements in the story are inspired by usual elements like. cunning relatives, mistaken and runaway schenes, an ammavan who scolds just in order to inculcate responsibility..as seen in yester years malayalam cinema

One good thing this film offers is a fine actor Unni Mukundan, dance sequences and stunds are apt, and this role perfectly suites him.

Except the colorful ambience created by Punjabi, this film does not offer anything new to watch.

The movie goes highly predictable except the suspence of hari becoming Harinder.

Songs are okay sort of, however resemblence to similar hindi-punjabi songs are felt,
might be coincidental :)

Positives

Unni mukundan, Colorful ambience, Punjabi Song

Negatives

Weak story plot, Manoj K Jayan

Final Verdict: Watch if you dont have anything else to do.
